Ralph Capone Lions Club Collection
Ralph Capone Lions Club Collection
Though he was at one time the third most wanted person by the FBI, Ralph Capone was the family member tasked with representing a more legitimate side of the Capone family business. His membership with the Lions Club was a potential way to add some of that legitimacy to the family name. Collection includes all of Ralph’s Lion Club items, including a hat with pins, a tie, and a name tag from the 1965 state convention in which he was a delegate. According to the pins, Ralph was diligent to this commitment, with 100% attendance from 1962 – 1971. This collection was unpacked directly from the family home and the hat does have some moth holes from being packed away.
